Google Analytics Service
Customers website analytics data is also collected from their Google
Analytics account, in the manner and with the scope described here,
after receiving their consent to do so.
-
What is Google Analytics and why do we use it?
Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google.
Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of
our customer applications, to prepare reports on activities and
share them with other Google services. Google may use the Data
collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own
advertising network.
By granting this application access to their Google Analytics
account data, customers allow it to utilize this data to improve and
optimize services delivered to them.
This application uses Google Analytics API for the purpose of
accessing and analyzing users websites data. This analysis is
carried out for the purpose of optimizing ads on publisher websites
and also optimizing advertising costs based on conversion rate of
advertisers’ goals.
Use of Google Analytics is subject to
Google's Google Analytics Terms of Service
which is available on Google's website.
-
Who is requesting Google user data?
Data is requested by the Yektanet online advertising platform which
is responsible to serve ads in publisher websites. The request is
made using the Google Analytics API.
-
Why are we requesting Google user data?
Yektanet takes initiatives to offer customers a service enabling
them to be more data-driven. For this reason, it offers users the
option to integrate their Yektanet panels’ data with those of Google
Analytics. This way, publishers are able to serve more related ads
to their users and advertisers can optimize their campaign costs
based on the traffic they receive from Yektanet and the goals they
have set in their Google Analytics panel.
-
What data are we requesting?
Data obtained from Google Analytics API includes, but is not limited
to, sessions, goal definitions and conversions of the goals based on
different dimensions.
We use Google Analytics API to have read-only access to Google's
Analytics service to view accounts, properties and views in order to
serve web users with more customized ads based on their behavior and
interests. Also, our advertisers can see integrated data collected
by this application with relevant Google Analytics data in their
panels, specifically those pertaining their website traffic and goal
conversions, to optimize their advertising costs based on the goals
they have set for their campaigns.
Yektanet also fetches data based on different dimensions and metrics
to produce customized reports and to optimize its algorithms in
order to increase conversion rate of its advertisers’ goals and
reduce their costs.
Yektanet uses OAuth 2.0 to authorize requests made to the Analytics
API. Every request made to the Analytics API includes an
authorization token which identifies the application to Google.
This data is only used in favor of our customers' benefit and
interest and not used for any other purposes.
-
How do we access your Google Analytics data?
For accessing and using data from a user’s Google Analytics account,
they need to express their consent explicitly. For this purpose,
they should go to their profile management page in their Yektanet
panel, click on “Grant access to Google Analytics'' button, log into
their google account in the opened modal, and grant Yektanet.com
permission to:
- See and download their Google Analytics data
- View Search Console data for their verified sites
Customers can opt out at any time both from the same place in their
profile management page by clicking the “Revoke Google Analytics
Permissions” or by doing so from their Google Account’s
permission management section.
-
How is your data stored?
Data is stored in our databases and is retained for a maximum period
of three months, subject to our data retention policy, explained in
section two of this page.
-
Who has access to the data and with whom the data is shared?

the opt out will prevent Yektanet from using the user’s Information to
tailor recommendations to their interests. Users will continue to
receive ads based on the particular website they are visiting (i.e.
contextual ads).
As Yektanet’s tracking mechanisms operate at device and browser level,

order for the opt-out to be effective. While using a Safari browser on
iOS 11 or macOS High Sierra, users must first adjust their Privacy and
Security Settings to turn off both “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking” and
“Block All Cookies'', and then return to this privacy policy or their
preferred permission management platform to reset opt-out preferences.
Yektanet may use non-cookie technologies in limited cases. Like cookies,
these technologies allow Yektanet to recommend ads that are tailored to
users interests and to remember whether they have chosen to opt-out from
our services. Please note that some web browsers may not permit users to
block the use of non-cookie technologies, but it is possible to do so by
simply clicking on the opt-out feature available in the current section.
